Lapeer Seafood Market is set to open in Alpharetta City Center on Monday, April 1.

The restaurant, fashioned after beach towns along the East Coast, was supposed to open in March.

It is from Co-Owner Louis Soon and Culinary Director Andy Long of Maven Restaurant Group (South Main Kitchen and Butcher & Brew).

Lapeer will be open daily for dinner with lunch with weekend brunch to follow soon.

It will feature a “hyper-seasonal” seafood menu of dayboat fish, including East Coast and Gulf oysters, wild-caught fish and shrimp from along the Gulf of Mexico, crabmeat from Bayou la Batre and tuna from Louisiana.

Produce will be sourced directly from farms in Georgia, such as Levity Farms, Tucker Farms, AJ Stonehaven Farms, Martin’s Garden, Crystal Organics, Ashland Farms and Grant Wallace Farm.

In addition to a raw bar highlighting classics like oysters, crudo, seafood towers and more, guests can expect family-style shared plates and daily specials.

The beverage program will feature more than 100 different mezcal varieties available for one and two-ounce pours.

Lapeer’s space was designed by Curious Yellow Design in New York, the firm behind residential and commercial projects including Hero Beach Club in Montauk.

Inside the 3,000-square-foot restaurant are 15-foot ceilings, white and matte green tile, white slat walls and brass finishes.

A greenhouse-inspired, 840-square-foot outdoor, temperature-controlled patio with a glass ceiling and walls will flank the restaurant and overlook a courtyard in Alpharetta City Center.

Designed for year-round outdoor dining, the patio will be temperature controlled and allow guests to dine comfortably no matter the season.
