Loyal Tavern is now open in Marietta.

The sports bar’s first day was Wednesday, March 13, according to a press release.

Parent company Loyal Market Concept wanted the restaurant open for March Madness which starts March 19.

Loyal Tavern, at 4880 Lower Roswell Road, replaces Loyal Q and Brew—a restaurant from the same owners.

It’s the second metro-Atlanta location for the company.

Loyal Tavern’s original outpost is in Roswell.

The restaurant’s menu offers everything from burgers, wings, and sandwiches to small plates, salads, and larger entrées.

Several Local Q favorites like the Brunswick stew, BBQ nachos, and chopped brisket chili, are staying on the menu.

A new outdoor dining area is set to debut in April.

  • Not as good as before. Sad to see the change. Previously outstanding BBQ; now nothing special sandwiches and such. Meat was tough, sandwich somewhat soggy, onion rings overly battered. Won’t be returning anytime soon. One question, why the change?
