Succulent Hospitality is in the process of opening at least three restaurants in Sandy Springs that you can’t actually visit.

Fatbacks, Top Bun, and Salad Hippie will be delivery-only or “virtual” restaurants, according to Succulent Hospitality Co-Owner Jason Sheetz.

“Our virtual restaurants will be everything that a brick-and-mortar would be, but without the dining room and the bar,” Sheetz told What Now Atlanta (WNA) in a telephone interview Monday.

“Chef-prepared, gourmet food delivered.”

Succulent Hospitality, the group behind Hammocks Trading Company and Under The Corktree Restaurant, will run Fatbacks, Top Bun, and Salad Hippie out of a kitchen-only space adjacent Hammocks, at 7277 Roswell Road.

The restaurants will be a meat-and-three, a gourmet burger and hotdog joint, and a salad and grain bowl concept, respectively.

Succulent Hospitality could launch the new virtual eateries online as early as February 1, 2019.

Each concept will be searchable across a variety of food delivery services.

Sheetz and his team are currently building out the restaurants’ kitchen.

It’s possible that additional eateries could launch out of that same space in the very near future.

“We’re working on more concepts and testing the threshold of how many one kitchen can support,” Sheetz said.

“We think that we can serve at least three concepts, maybe even four.”

Opening adjacent Hammocks is key for Succulent Hospitality as “we are still in the early phases of experimenting.”

“If we need to borrow a cup of sugar, we’re right next store. If we’re getting busier than I thought they’d be, we can send people over. Once we get it nailed down there, we can go anywhere in the city. In the country.”
