Taptown Tasting Emporium and Eatery is coming soon to Acworth, at 4443 Cherokee Street.

With more than 100 craft beer, wine, champagne, and cider on tap, it would have the “largest number of self-pour taps in the nation,” according to the company’s website.

On the menu will be “food truck-inspired” grub.

There will also be a pet-friendly beer garden, and live music and entertainment.

Its interior will look like the wild west.

Taptown Owner Jay Clark did not immediately respond to What Now Atlanta’s request for comment when reached by phone Monday.

The project in early-February was first announced by Acworth Mayor Tommy Allegood at his State of the City address.

    • Acworth was a nice quiet little town, it recently got rid of a good bit of the bad element dragging it down but now it’s trying to go upscale. Buying up perfectly good homes and demolishing them to make way for parking lots, tearing up the train crossings and blocking up Southside drive to put lipstick on a pig. I’m moving soon and can’t wait to put this mess behind me.

  • Finally!!! I don’t have to drive all over town tasting new craft beers! It’s all under one roof- or I guess I should say all in the same little town! What a great idea !!!
