A new Mexican eatery called Tequila Mama Taqueria is planned for Suwanee.

Slated to open in early-2019, the restaurant will replace the now-shuttered Uptown Grille, at 340 Town Center Ave A8.

Tequila Mama Co-Owner Blake Rogers confirmed the plans in a telephone conversation with What Now Atlanta earlier this month.

Rogers did not immediately provide additional details surrounding the restaurant which is currently in the early stages of permitting.

According to its website, the restaurant will focus on three things: “our tequila which gives us rhythm, our mama which gives us wisdom and advice, and our tacos which gives us satisfaction.”
