The Mexican restaurant on Manor Road failed to comply with multiple food regulations. During an inspection on August 21, 2025, the restaurant was flagged for storing raw chicken next to raw beef in a lowboy cooler without proper separation. The inspectors suggested storing raw foods separately.

The report further mentions that it did not provide a first aid kit or signage reminding customers to use clean tableware when returning to self-service areas. The inspectors further noted that the restaurant stored toxic materials (Comet bleach and Raid) in the kitchen. All cooking equipment and utensils were instructed to be cleaned and sanitized.

The inspection further established that the restaurant was using improper cooling methods, such as storing refried beans in large containers that prevented them from cooling quickly enough.

Outer openings were also unprotected against the entry of pests, and the inspectors found a significant gap at the top of the storage door leading outside. To maintain health compliance, inspectors advised the restaurant to implement effective means of protection against the entry of insects and rodents.

Paper towels and hand drying devices were also unavailable near the restaurant’s handwashing sink. The restaurant did not maintain the plumbing system, and the women’s restroom sink was observed not draining properly. According to the report, corrective action repairs are needed.

Follow-Up Inspection 

The department requires a reinspection as the restaurant failed to score above 70 on routine inspections. To avoid permit suspension during the follow-up inspection, the restaurant must correct the violations within 10 days. The restaurant must address the violations to maintain food safety and sanitation standards.
