  • Several TCS foods in the bar area, such as creamers, watermelon, raw eggs, and milk, were held above 41°F for more than four hours.
  • The report said in-house sauces stored in the walk-in cooler were held past their expiration dates.
  • Employee drinks and a purse were seen stored in areas exposed to food preparation.
  • Cooling equipment in the bar and front kitchen was not able to keep food at 41°F or below.
  • Raw meat was observed thawing in a container of standing water.

  • The report said fruit flies were observed throughout the establishment.
  • Food was stored under a dump sink, exposing it to contamination.
  • The report said clean equipment and linens were not stored at least six inches above the ground.
  • Linens were seen stored under the dump sink.
  • The establishment did not air-dry utensils and equipment after washing.
  • Parchment paper was observed being used to line the inside of cooling units, which is not allowed.
  • The report said cutting boards were worn and could no longer be cleaned.
  • A cracked water pitcher was being used in the kitchen.
  • The vent fans in the walk-in cooler had major dust buildup.
  • The espresso machine tubing and the interior of a cooler were not cleaned frequently enough to prevent debris and liquid accumulation.
  • The women’s or unisex restroom did not have a covered waste container.
  • The report said ceiling tiles in the kitchen were damaged.
  • Dust had accumulated on ceiling tiles throughout the facility.

Follow-up Inspection

The establishment has 10 business days to address all violations

As per the official report, a reinspection will be required due to the health score being below 70. The establishment has must address all violations, and a reinspection fee is due within 72 hours of the inspection. The report also noted that the official reinspection is scheduled for December 18.
