Amaya, a new modern Mediterranean-inspired rooftop dining destination, is set to open its doors in early December. Perched on the 12th floor of Paseo, Austin’s new 48-story luxury high-rise located at 80 Rainey Street, the new eatery is set to provide an array of shareable dishes Austinies can enjoy while surrounded by panoramic views.

The LV Collective is behind the new opening. What Now Austin first read about the new establishment from a state filing. After reaching out about the opening a few weeks ago, the hospitality group finally released a press release about the mysterious new eatery to come.

“We wanted to create a place where Austin could feel both elevated and effortless,” Director of Hospitality at LV Collective, Matt Wolski, said in the press release.

Amaya is the perfect rooftop destination where you can linger over spritzes, share delicious food with friends, and take in the energy of Rainey from above.”

Think of a night out on the town with your friends and you need a cute place to eat shareable dishes, and snap instagramable moments, that’s what Amaya is on the way to be.

Amaya’s menu will feature “bright, shareable dishes and vibrant plates rooted in Mediterranean tradition and infused with local Texan influence,” as the press release reads.

Mezze dishes will include Falafel with avocado labneh, cilantro, and jalapeño. Light bites such as Cured Hamachi with Cara Cara orange, pistachio, Fresno chili, and cucumber.

A variety of salads will surely be on the menu to pique the intrigue of all types of eaters. The yummest option that the LV Collective shared is the Tahani Caesar Salad with crispy chickpeas, parsley, and parmesan dressing.

But beyond the salads, side dishes, and cute apps, Amaya will serve up meals to keep your core ready for the nightlife that downtown Austin has to offer. Everything from Aleppo Chicken Skewers with tabbouleh and tender herbs to Mediterranean Octopus with confit potato, muhammara, black garlic, and arugula will be served up and dished out.

If that’s not enough, Amaya will also hoist a multitude of sweet dishes like the St. Germain caramel, soft homemade Tahini Cookie, and, for the lighter side, Strawberry Gelato with lemon olive oil and sea salt.

Amaya’s menu would not be complete without an extensive beverage program that extends the nod to the Mediterranean in nearly every sip with a curated collection of craft cocktails, frozen drinks, and aperitif-style sips designed to transition seamlessly from golden hour to late-night lounging.

As for the vibes, Amaya is designed for both casual hangouts and special occasions. Guests are invited to gather with friends, share plates, enjoy live sound sets on the patio, or simply unwind with a cocktail as the sun dips below the Austin skyline.

When the eatery opens in December, Amaya will be open Wednesday through Sunday from 4 pm to 10 pm at 80 Rainey Street, 12th Floor.
