The ever-growing steakhouse chain, Texas Roadhouse, is gearing up to build up a Bastrop location, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be found at HWY 71 & FM 969.

Describing a “New construction of a sit down restaurant and bar – 7,926 SF,” public records examined by What Now Austin reveal that the job will cost around $2,000,000 and reach completion in April 2026.

Labeling itself as “Legendary,” Texas Roadhouse justifies the label by pointing to their “Hand-Cut Steaks, Fall-Off-The-Bone Ribs, Made-From-Scratch Sides, Ice-Cold Beer, and of course, our irresistible Fresh-Baked Bread,” according to the official website.

Given the project’s early stage, no opening date has been announced. Until then, eager readers can readily find the popular chain all across the state and country.

What Now Austin reached out to representatives to gather more information about this exciting new development in the central Texas food and beverage landscape, but did not receive responses by time of publication.
