“Get Ready to Wing It in 2026!” says a post published by iHutto this week. “If wings, cold drinks, and a solid place to watch the game are high on your wish list, you’re in luck. Buffalo Wild Wings is headed to Hutto, with an expected opening in September 2026, and yes, people are already excited.”

The Hutto location will open in the Hutto HEB center, at 2270 Muirfield Bend Drive, adds coverage by Huttotopia. “Construction is set to begin later in February, and the completion date is seven months later on September 26, 2026.”

Coverage by Huttotopia on this developing story began last October, when the site learned from the mayor that the permitting process had begun.

The excitement makes sense, as indeed Buffalo Wild Wings has more locations in Texas than in any other state, coming in at about 130 units. The brand built its steady following with its bone-in and boneless wings (and, as of more recently, you can even get cauliflower wings), served up with BWW’s famous variety of sauces.

These include Thai Curry Sauce (Bold flavors with a bite: sweet chilies blended with spices. Coconut and curry), Blazin’ Knockout Sauce (A fiery sauce made with nine different hot peppers), and the limited-time-only Brown Sugar Heat (Try our NEW, limited time Brown Sugar Heat Sauce on your favorite BWW items. It features a brown sugar glaze with black pepper, garlic and smoked chiles).

The iHutto coverage cites the consistent growth Hutto has seen in recent years as a factor drawing brands like Buffalo Wild Wings into the area.

“Hutto isn’t the same small town it was even a few years ago. With rapid growth has come a clear demand for more places to eat, gather, and unwind. Buffalo Wild Wings checks a lot of boxes.”
