Chick-Fil-A, the wildly successful fast-casual chicken concept, will begin building Round Rock and Manor locations in 2024, according to recent public records. The records in question list the Manor address simply as “US 290” and the Round Rock address as “N FM 620”.

“While we are still early in the process, Chick-fil-A is happy to share that we are actively pursuing new locations in the Kyle, Round Rock and Manor communities,” a representative for the company said in an email to the Austin Business Journal.

Construction records examined by What Now Austin outline a $1.2 million price tag for the projects which are described as a “ground up construction of quick service restaurant with drive thru and stand alone canopies.” Estimates declare that both construction projects will conclude next summer.

What Now Austin recently reached out to Chick-Fil-A representatives to inquire about the upcoming location and other potential central Texas expansion plans, but they were not immediately available for comment.

Founded in Hapeville, Georgie by Truett Cathy in 1946, Chick-Fil-A has since become one of the most notable and ubiquitous fast casual restaurants in the United States. Chick-fil-A is especially known for its chicken sandwiches, chicken tenders, hospitable staff, and being consistently, unequivocally closed on Sundays.
