Chicken Salad Chick, a “chain outlet specializing in many different types of chicken salads” will continue its expansion into Central Texas with a new Austin outpost at 1000 E 41st St.

Records examined by What Now Austin indicate construction will consist of an “Interior finish-out of a Chicken Salad Chick restaurant with kitchen and restrooms.” The job will cost around $442,000 and span 2,949 square feet, with projections pointing to a May finish. 

On the menu — in addition to more than ten chicken salad options, categorized as traditional, spicy, savory, and fruity & nutty — are variations of pimento cheese, fruit and vegetable salads, soups, and sandwiches.

This particular location will be spearheaded by Meauxmentum Strategies and Investments, LLC. the shared services company of franchisee groups, North Texas Bells, LLC, North Texas Wings, LLC, Memphis Wings Operations, LLC, and Southern Wings Enterprises, LLC.

No opening date has been announced.
