Back in January, Huttotopia.com reported on the opening of Da’s Thai Cuisine in Hutto, in the former Elsie’s Egg Rolls space at 525 Chris Kelley Blvd, Suite 101.

Originally, the restaurant appeared to already have opened (it’s marked as open on Google Maps); however, on January 29, Huttotopia confirmed that the opening is still in progress. What Now spoke on Thursday with Seeda, one of the owners, who says the restaurant’s opening date still hasn’t been determined.

Seeda said the menu to be served in Hutto will be the same one offered at the Da’s Thai Cuisine in Round Rock. It will feature seating for about 40 guests.

“This place was incredible,” says one 5-star Yelp review of the Round Rock location by Sam H. “I ordered a pad ka prow with chicken and loved every bit of it. It was flavorful and the (3) level spice was just hot enough to still enjoy the food. The inside of the restaurant was pretty warm (77-80deg), but the service was top notch. Very clean and well worth the money. This is my third restaurant to try in this strip center and all have been home runs!”

“It was such a cool experience, the staff is very friendly, the food was made with love, I’d come again for sure,” says another, by Innocent A.

Keep an eye out Hutto! Da’s Thai Cuisine is coming soon.
