“Not many people know about it, but the Brooklyn style is really good. It just has a different flavor profile than the others.”

The global leader in delivery pizza Domino’s is soon opening a new Leander store, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be located at 1890 Crystal Falls Pkwy, near eateries such as Sky Asian Fusion and Brooklyn Heights Pizzeria.

The Leander location will be franchisee Mason Burnham’s 8th location. When asked why he began to franchise with the company, Mr. Burnham has a thorough response.

“Well, it was just my first job—I’ve worked for Domino’s for 24 years. It’s a fun environment where you get to meet many people and empower the next generation,” Burnham says.

“The owner that I worked for coming up in Dallas helped empower me. I had a supervisor who recently bought two stores in Colorado! So, it’s a really cool community willing to help each other.”

When asked about his favorite offering, after 24 years of working closely with the product, Mr. Burnham provides fresh insight.

“Not many people know about it, but the Brooklyn style is really good. It just has a different flavor profile than the others.”

While there is no set opening date, Mr. Burnham eyes the end of Q1 or early Q2 as a reasonable window.

Founded in 1960 as “DomiNick’s” in Michigan, the original store was bought by Tom and James Monaghan for $500 and renamed Domino’s Pizza. Since then, the company has become an incredibly successful American-style pizza chain with locations all across the United States and the world at large. As proof of its international success, the company’s first store to make $3 million in a year was the Tallaght, Ireland location in 2006.
