Eclectic Asian Establishment Coming to Bastrop

Volcano Sushi & Ramen, a new and independent restaurant, will soon build up its debut location at 717 State Highway 71 in Bastrop, per public records.

“It is our first restaurant,” owner Weihui Luo tells What Now Austin

Construction notes state the project will consist of “Interior build out for 2350 s.f. lease space to be a new restaurant” spanning around 2350 square feet and costing an estimated $150,000. 

Apart from the titular sushi and ramen, Mr. Luo adds that they will serve Chinese food. 

So when can locals expect to try Bastrop’s newest Asian cuisine? 

“I think we will open in December,” Mr. Luo estimates.
