According to recent public records, an Austin facility is undergoing significant renovations in the coming months.

Set for 408 Josephine St, “Josephine Restaurant” (as the project is listed in TDLR documents) will undergo the “tenant finish out project to revitalize an existing structure. Improvements are mostly interior. Existing wooden decks are being rebuilt and expanded. Parking and driveway are not changing.”

Estimated to cost around $220,000, the project will cover around 1,880 SF and is not expected to reach completion until August 2025.

Tied to the project is local restaurateur Erind Halilaj who has served as head chef in New Waterloo and Il Brutto.

No opening date has been announced.
