A brand-new locally owned sports bar is preparing to open its doors in Leander. It’s called Game On Bar & Grill, and it’s launching at 15609 Ronald Reagan Blvd, Unit A100.
“The new sports bar will feature a 16-by-9-foot LED TV that will show a variety of sports games, including football, basketball, soccer, volleyball, tennis and cricket,” reported Community Impact this week. “Patrons may choose from 44 different draft beers, the majority of which will be from Texas breweries, [General Manager Brian] Felicella said. The classic American grill will serve smash burgers and wings as well as loaded fries and nachos.”
With an expected opening in mid-February, the new sports bar will be up and running soon. Further on the horizon, however, is the possibility of adding live music and karaoke to the program, owner Ram Varma says in the Community Impact coverage.
“Enjoy fresh, traditional menu favorites like juicy wings, crispy fries, and handcrafted burgers perfect for every game day craving,” says the Game On website. “We always have the perfect cold beverage to pair with your meal, be sure to check out our rotating draft list.”
Opening in the retail center at the intersection with Grand Lake Parkway, Game On will join and food and beverage community that includes Sharks Burger, Boba Cuecue, Grand Donuts, and more.
