The popular North Lamar boba shop Gen Bobabee & Coffee House will soon be opening a second location within the South Shore District apartment complex at 1333 Shore District Drive, according to recent real estate intel.

If the upcoming location is anything like its predecessor, readers can expect a wide range of drink offerings such as slush drinks, coffee, smoothies, milk tea and ice tea based in classics such as oolong, black, jasmine, and taro, among others. It is not clear whether the brand will begin serving food at its second location.

Upon arrival at South Shore, Gen Bobabee will join an eclectic selection of nearby restaurants such as Chi’Lantro, MOD Pizza, and Pho Please, among others.

What Now Austin reached out to owner Vi Le to inquire about potential opening dates and menu changes, but he was not immediately available for comment. No opening date has yet been announced.
