“Big news, Round Rock,” says a recent post published on Instagram by Georgetown butcher shop and restaurant Tejas Meat Supply. “Tejas Meat Supply is expanding, and we’re bringing everything you love with us—prime meats, killer food, and unbeatable vibes.”
Located at 101 E Seventh St in Georgetown, Tejas Meat Supply has built a reputation as both a full-service butcher shop and a restaurant (with beer, it bears pointing out!).
“Featuring fresh cut meats from sustainable Texas ranches,” the Tejas Meat Supply website says. “We offer a wide selection of house made sausages, jerky and charcuterie. We will also be offering fine artisan foods, beer and wines. Stop in and browse our selection of freshly cut meats or grab a table and check out our menu of delicious offerings. We look forward to visiting with you on The Most Beautiful Square In Texas.”
Although the Instagram post does not reveal the address of the location planned for Round Rock, recent coverage by Community Impact says it will open at 3001 Joe Dimaggio Blvd. The opening date? Still TBD.
“The menu features the Georgetown Melt, which comes with smoked brisket, bacon, cheddar, smoked gouda, pepper jack and provolone on toasted sourdough,” says the Community Impact coverage. “It also has pulled pork sandwiches, hot chicken sandwiches, chili cheese dogs and other meals that come with fries and chips.”
What Now reached out to co-owner Keith Odom on Wednesday to ask about plans for the rollout of Tejas Meat Supply Round Rock. Odom was not immediately available to discuss the news.
