Austin-Area Dos Olivos Markets Closes Doors on April 5

Texas-based Dos Olivos Markets is a market and restaurant concept. It is known for offering authentic Texas-grown wines, craft beers, and imported gourmet goods. The company confirmed the closure of its Dripping Springs location.

In the announcement, the team shared, “Dos Olivos Markets Dripping Springs location has officially closed its doors. This was not an easy decision. Dripping Springs has been a meaningful part of our journey.”

According to a report by MYSA, the closure comes after just four years of operation.

“As we continue to grow, we’ve come to recognize that growth must be intentional. Expanding too quickly can take us away from what matters most: listening to our guests, refining our experience, and staying true to the heart of our brand. This next chapter is about doing just that,” said the Dos Olivos Markets team.

The team behind the restaurant thanked the community and its staff for their support.

About Dos Olivos Markets

The chain features a mix of high-quality groceries, coffee, meat, and artisanal products with prepared food like a European-style market. It also included a casual dining option.

A father and daughter duo established Dos Olivos Markets in 2018. The company aims to offer a unique shopping experience blending Old-world tradition and Texas charm.

While the Dripping Springs location has closed, the company plans to expand and refine its Buda and Harlingen locations.

“Buda and Harlingen locations, both of which are growing rapidly and present exciting opportunities to elevate the Dos Olivos experience even further,” the team said.
