Hanami AYCE Sushi is set to bring its offerings to the East Austin area. According to the Austin Chronicle‘s legal notices, Jin Lu LLC submitted an application with the Texas Alcoholic Beverage Commission for a permit for the all-you-can-eat sushi eatery to open at 7020 Easy Wind Drive #100.

A recent post by Nelson Lin in the ATX Asian Food Facebook Group announced that Hanami AYCE Sushi is one of a handful of restaurants to come to Austin soon, and listed that the sushi spot comes from the owners of Hui Lan Shan.

Jie Huang is the cofounder of Hui Lan Shan, the dessert shop in Austin, along with Ricky Chen. Huang co-founded the shop with her mother, and Chen is another franchisee who joined the business.

What Now Austin reached out to Huang to discuss the new opening, but did not hear back by the time of publication.

All-you-can-eat options continue to pop up in Austin. The new Hanami AYCE Sushi will pop up in East Austin across from Soupleaf Hot Pot, where the Black Star Co-op once lived.

While there isn’t much information available just yet about the offerings at Hanami AYCE Sushi, you can expect a variety, as the new eatery will be competing with a host of other AYCE recent openings.

When exactly Hanami AYCE Sushi will open at 7020 Easy Wind Drive #100 is unknown. But keep your eyes on the Hui Lan Shan social media pages for clues and check back in with us for updates.

This is a developing story.
