Beloved local chain Hopdoddy will soon build up a new spot at 1911 Philomena Street, according to recent public records.

Public records examined by What Now Austin show that the “tenant finish out of an existing lease space” will cost around $450,000 to build out a 3,493 square foot space, aiming to finish by June 2025.

Primarily serving high-quality hamburgers, Hopdoddy also serves fried chicken, french fries, milkshakes, and an extensive selection of beer and wine. According to the company’s website, the restaurant started in 2010 as a goal shared by four friends: “to set a new standard for burger bars. Hopdoddy pushed the boundaries of what’s expected by bringing together craft beer and unique burger concoctions – all with high-quality ingredients and even higher standards.”

What Now Austin reached out to Mike Steele, Hopdoddy’s Regional Director Of Operations, to inquire about potential opening dates and other pertinent information, but he was not immediately available for comment.
