The growing Italian ice chain, Jeremiah’s Italian Ice, will soon be opening a new location in Leander, according to recent public records. The location will open at 11620 Hero Way West within Suite 110, near Smokey Mo’s and La Tapatia.

What Now Austin recently spoke to franchise owner Benjamin Lee to get the full low-down on this exciting new development.

“We have, at any given time, 24-25 flavors of Italian ice,” said Mr. Lee. “For a first-time customer, I recommend the strawberry and vanilla gelati.”

When asked about how he came to franchise with the company, Lee details his personal experience.

“It all started when we went to Jerimiah’s Ice in Cedar Park and fell in love with the staff, the brand, and the product in general. We then acquired that location from the original owners.”

So, why Leander?

“Leander simply seems like the next center of development in the Austin area. It seemed like the perfect place to start our next journey.”

When asked about potential opening dates, Lee does not give a hard date, but a general timeframe.

“At this time, our prospective opening will be in late summer of this year.”
