Jersey Mike’s Subs, the nationally ubiquitous sub shop, will soon be opening its doors in Manor, according to recent public records. The store will be located at 11910 E US 290 HWY.

The location, which will be run at least in part by Steven Spencer, will build a “tenant finish-out of a new retail shell strip centre space into a new Jersey Mike’s Subs restaurant with new kitchen equipment, interior walls, mechanical, electrical and plumbing work & finishes.”

The project is estimated to cost $500,000 and span around 1500 square feet. Construction will begin December and end in March.

“The Spencers are exemplary Jersey Mike’s franchise owners who share the company’s commitment to quality products and exceptional customer service, and who are dedicated to giving back to the local community,” a report from Franchise Times states.

“Since 2010, Jersey Mike’s locations throughout the country have raised nearly $10 million for worthy local charities and have distributed more than 1 million free sub sandwiches to help numerous causes. All March long, Jersey Mike’s franchisees throughout the nation are celebrating the 5th Annual Jersey Mike’s Month of Giving. Last year, $2.1 million was raised for more than 100 different charities nationwide.”

No opening date has been announced.
