The national Detroit-style pizza brand, Jets Pizza, will soon be opening another area location, according to a recent filing with the State of Texas. The restaurant will be located in Austin at 7301 Burnet Rd.

Founded in 1978 by Eugene Jetts in Sterling Heights, Michigan, Jets Pizza has since grown to hundreds of locations across twenty states in the US. Defining themselves on their website, the company states “Jet’s offers more than famous Detroit-style pizzas, like hand-tossed round, thin-crust, and NY Style pizzas, fresh salads, breads, and desserts. One thing that will never change is their commitment to quality ingredients.”

Records examined by What Now Austin describe a “1600 sq feet built a pizza restaurant with no in room dining” that will cost an estimated $390,000. Construction should be finished by August.

Until the newest location opens its doors, curious foodies may visit the three other existing Jets Pizza location in Austin on Congress Ave, Lamar Blvd, and Brodie Ln.
