Adam Weisberg, owner of Lucky Robot and Zen, will soon be opening a new restaurant called NoMade, according to a recent filing with the State of Texas. The restaurant will be located at 1506 S First St, near Snarf’s Sandwiches and El Mercado.

According to the filing, construction will soon begin in regards to a “patio bar and dining area in front of an existing restaurant.” The existing restaurant, in this case, is the former Word of Mouth Bakery, which NoMade is replacing. The filing estimates a mid-June completion of the outdoor dining area.

Very little concrete information is known about the restaurant. A December report in Eater states “Scarce details for the restaurant are available at this point. It will include a raw bar and a wood-fired grill and oven. Drinks-wise, there will be mezcal and tequila cocktails. The revamped space will include a lot of new greenery.”

What Now Austin reached out to Adam Weisberg to inquire about the menu and potential opening dates, but he was not immediately available for comment.
