Mendocino Farms is set to open its second Austin location at 1106 W. 38th St. According to the eatery’s website, the 38th St. Mendocino Farms is expected to open in November.
Director of New Store Openings, Whitney Schwartz, and the Mendocino Farms PR team confirmed with What Now Austin that the new Mendocino Farms is expected to hold a grand opening in November.
The fast-casual restaurant known for its chef-driven sandwiches, salads, and more, recently opened its first Mendoinco Farms in Austin on October 14th at the Arbor Trails.
“At Mendocino Farms, we’re all about serving unexpected culinary adventures that start conversations and build community,” said Kevin Miles, CEO of Mendocino Farms, in a press release about the new build.
“We couldn’t be more excited to join Austin’s vibrant food scene and bring our unique flavor to Arbor Trails. Surrounded by families, local professionals, and businesses who share our passion for gathering over thoughtful, delicious meals, this neighborhood is the perfect place to plant roots and continue our Texas growth.”
The new location on 38th Street is expected to have the same feel. Both Austin locations are expected to feature Mendocino Farms’ creative sandwiches and salads, including fan favorites like the “Not So Fried” Chicken Sandwich and the Avocado & Quinoa Superfood Ensalada, to a rotating selection of chef-driven seasonal items. According to the recent press release, “every bite is made to ‘eat happy’ and bring people together.”
Mendocino Farms was founded in Southern California in 2005. Since then, the farm-fresh food chain has grown to 70+ locations in California, Colorado, Illinois, Texas, and Washington, and continues to rapidly expand across the US.
According to its website, Mendocino Farms on 38th will give customers a free entree when it opens its doors if you sign up for a MyMendo account and select Austin-West 38th as your favorite location. Mendocino Farms at 1106 W. 38th St. is expected to hold a grand opening on November 4th.
