Mountain Mike’s Pizza is set to open a new location in Williamson County next year. According to this recent state filing, the pizza food chain will open a new location in the Greater Austin area in the Cedar Park Town Plaza at 100 E Whitestone Blvd #130.
The permit also details that construction on the new Mountain Mike’s Pizza coming to the Cedar Park Town Plaza is slated to start in February next year and wrap up in mid-May 2026. If all goes well on the 2,616 square foot project that’s estimated to cost $320,000 to construct, curly pepperoni lovers in the Williamson community and afar will be able to enjoy the new Mountain Mike’s by June 2026.
Mountain Mike’s Pizza was founded in 1978 in Palo Alto, California, by Thomas Van Buskirk. According to the pizzeria’s website, it started as a single, family-friendly restaurant and has since grown into a large chain with over 300 Mountain Mike’s Pizza locations across the western United States. The company is known for its focus on fresh ingredients, a family-oriented atmosphere, and its signature “crispy, curly pepperoni”.
The menu includes a wide variety of pizzas with the crispy, curly pepperoni at the forefront. Mountain Mike’s Pizza also offers specialty pizzas like the Nashville Hot N’ Swicy Pizza and the Chicken Club.
As the chain continues to expand and franchise, we’re sure to see more pop up throughout Texas.
On the permit, Rajeev Dewan is listed as the owner and is likely the franchisee for the new eatery to come to Williamson County. What Now Austin reached out to Dewan for more details on the Cedar Park opening, but did not hear back by the time of this publication.
The new Mountain Mike’s Pizza is expected to open at Cedar Park Town Plaza at 100 E Whitestone Blvd #130 next Summer.
