According to recent construction records, massive cafe chain Panera is soon building up a Hutto location at 320 Ed Schmidt Blvd.

“We believe in serving delicious, freshly prepared, Clean food made with carefully selected ingredients that we are proud to serve our own families. Our menu, crafted by chefs and bakers, features classic, comforting dishes, each with an intriguing twist,” the official website states.

Panera’s widely diverse menu offers salads, soups, sandwiches, pizza, breakfast dishes, and warm bowls. Perhaps what sets the brand apart in the US fast casual dining landscape is its range of baked goods — bagels, cookies, pastries, muffins, scones, and breads can all be found at the chain’s nationwide locations.

Construction records state that the build out will consist of “New 2437 SF shell building for Panera Bread.” The job will cost an estimated $1.5 million and end by June 2025.

The development underscores the rapid growth of Hutto, one of the most booming suburbs north of Austin city limits.

No opening date has been set.
