Expanding brand Parlor Doughnuts is eyeing an Austin location as the brand expands under franchisee Baher Maximos and his brother.

“We fell in love with the product, as well as the coffee,” Baher shared with What Now Houston, relating that a few visits to a Parlor Doughnuts in Florida inspired them to partner with the brand and bring it to Texas.

“Since then, the brothers have successfully opened two locations, one of which can be found across from the NASA Space Center and another in Richmond,” What Now Houston.

“We’ve been pretty blessed by the community,” Baher said. Reportedly, the two new Houston locations won’t radically adjust the menu except for the local specialty doughnuts unique to each store.

“The brothers are currently experimenting with their own innovative flavors, including a potential pear flavored doughnut most notably. They’re brewing up new and creative coffee options for their patrons as well,” WNH states.

What Now Austin did not immediately reach Maximos; no addresses have been announced.
