A new food truck park is currently in the works in Pflugerville. It’s called Pflugerville Pfood Park, and it’s hoping to open this summer at 20011 FM 685.
“We’re planning to create a food truck park with multiple international food trucks,” Shanker Tamang, one of the partners in the project, told What Now on Friday. “It’s going to be food from Nepal, India, Thailand. There will be barbecue, too.”
Once completed, Pflugerville Pfood Park plans to feature 10 different food trucks, a play area for kids, and a bar for parents and other adults.
The food truck park is targeting a summer opening, but Tamang is still cautious about setting a date. In today’s food service business, permitting always takes a little longer than you expect.
“[Summer] is our optimistic plan,” said Tamang. “Actually, we’ve been working on this project since last June. We’re trying to get everything set up just right for our opening.”
