JuiceLand, Austin’s own favorite juice spot (and the place “Where Drinks Come True”) is a considerable force in the area’s juice and superfood smoothie scene. It’s a scene more contested than ever, and JuiceLand, which has about three dozen locations, looks to be continuing to build out its presence: this week, What Now came across paperwork submitted to the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation for a new Juiceland, which would open at 12705 Center Lake Drive, Bldg 1, Suite 130.
The JuiceLand menu opens with smoothies in three categories: there are Berry Fruity Smoothies like the Honey Beary (almondmilk, banana, blueberry, peanut butter, Texas wildflower honey), Protein Smoothies like the Cosmic Charlie (almondmilk, apple, raspberry, strawberry, banana, peanut butter, chocolate chips, whey protein), and Green + Seasonal Smoothies like the Wundershowzen (almondmilk, banana, spinach, hemp protein, peanut butter).
There are also, of course, made-to-order juices—this is JuiceLand after all—and these include The Levitator (dragon fruit, blue majik, passion fruit, pineapple, mango, ginger, served over ice), the Pleasant Valley (orange, watermelon, pineapple, lemon, lime), and the Ninja Bachelor Party (pineapple, celery, kale, parsley, spinach, jalapeño, sea salt).
“We’re your local smoothie and juice bar serving superfood smoothies, raw juice, matcha lattes, salad and wraps!” says the JuiceLand website. “Our shops are stocked daily with unique plant-based meals, step-by-step juice cleanses, tonics, and wellness shots to enhance vitality. To us, nourishment comes in the form of good foods, a healthy environment, and a strong community. We practice gratitude for all by sourcing our ingredients sustainably and cultivating a fun, inviting vibe in our shops that is inspiring and welcoming to all. We live for the idea of fueling our guests to get their creative juices flowing.”
What Now reached out to JuiceLand VP of Business Development Lacy Stone on Friday to ask about plans for a new Juiceland in the Tech Ridge area. Stone was not immediately available for comment.
