Citzens Coffee, an Australian-inspired cafe concept with locations in NYC and Houston, will soon begin building its debut Austin location.

The growing brand will build up out at 4800 Burnet Road, starting in March. The three-month construction job will consist of an “interior renovation of 1-story building, change of use from mercantile to restaurant.” Cost is estimated at $150,000 for the build-out of the 2500 SF space.

“Experience the true essence of coffee with Citizens Coffee, where every batch is freshly roasted in Houston for a smooth, rich flavor. Elevate your daily routine with our bold blends and unique single-origin selections, expertly crafted to perfection,” the official website states.

Apart from great coffee, readers can expect breakfast plates, toasts, waffles, salads, and even cocktails and other alcoholic beverages for the brunch block.

No opening date has been announced.
