Fueling Stories Since 2008,” Black Rock Coffee Bar has grown from its original 160-square-foot drive-thru in Beaverton, Oregon to become a considerable coffee force with more than 150 locations. Residents of Round Rock will already know its cafe located at 17220 Ranch to Market Road 620, but a new location now appears to be in the works that may be even closer to home.

A recent filing with the Texas Department of Licensing and Regulation shows a new Black Rock Coffee Bar planned at 1901 E Palm Valley Rd (sic), at the intersection between East Palm Valley and N.A.W. Grimes Boulevards.

The construction is for a “1400 SF A modular building restaurant with dining,” a project expected to run from November 27 to February 27, 2027, with an estimated price tag of $475,000.

Current seasonal favorites on the Black Rock Coffee menu include the Coco Lime Dirty Pop, the Hot Organ Blossom Mocha, the Hot Sonoran Latter, and the Frozen Prickly Pear Fuel (A fruity burst of prickly pear mixed into our signature Fuel energy – Sweet, crisp, and refreshing like a desert oasis). In addition to its selection of coffee and tea beverages, soft drinks, and energy drinks, Black Rock Coffee also serves Breakfast Anytime, with choices that vary by location and include the Bacon & Gouda Sandwich, the Breakfast Burrito, and the Ham & Swiss Croissant.

“Founded by family, rooted in hospitality, and driven by a desire to bring light to grey Pacific Northwest mornings, we set out to build something simple but meaningful — a place where coffee could fuel connection,” says the Black Rock Coffee Bar website. “Today, we’re more than a coffee company. We’re a community grounded in connection and built by incredible people who care deeply. As we look ahead, we’re committed to staying true to what started it all — real moments, shared stories, and the kind of connection that can only happen over a great cup of coffee.
