A new Subway location is in the works near the intersection of E FM 150 and Hill Street in Kyle. A filing with the Texas Department of Licensing Regulation shows the new Subway opening at 340 E-FM 150. Coverage by Community Impact notes that construction is expected to reach completion by January 29.
It’s Kyle’s third outpost of the sandwich chain that made the footlong a global phenomenon.
“Fresh Is What We Do,” says the Subway website’s About Us page. “Subway is simply the better choice when it comes to freshly made, convenient and affordable food. We’re one of the world’s largest restaurant brands for a reason, serving up a craveable menu with better-for-you options to our millions of fans, every day.”
Top picks from the menu include Roasted Turkey, Tuna, The Ultimate B.M.T., and Black Forest Ham. On top of sandwiches, there are also wraps, breakfast sandwiches, salads, and desserts like Cinnabon churros and chocolate chip cookies.
The restaurant to be constructed comprises about 1,400 square feet and will be part of the Kyle 150 business park, itself park of Plum Creek.
What Now reached out on Thursday to franchisee Shane Fraser on Thursday to ask about plans for the opening. Fraser was not immediately available for comment.
