According to recent public records, a new supermarket and taqueria is in the works for Austin. Mi Tierra Supermercado will be found at 9515 N Lamar Unit 154.
Construction records examined by What Now Austin delineate an “interior remodel of existing building into grocery store with taqueria.” Spanning a rather large 12,250 SF, the job will cost around $245,000 and reach completion by October.
What Now Austin briefly reached owner Sarfraz Maredia but he did not provide comment on the upcoming development.
No opening date has been announced.
