Known for its fresh bread and its selection of lunch and breakfast choices, Texas French Bread has been through a lot in the last few years. After closing due to a fire in 2022, the bakery has been on an Airstream mobile sojourn nearby; but now it’s preparing to make its brick-and-mortar comeback this spring, says coverage published by Community Impact.
The menu at the Texas French Bread trailer has included classic deli sandwiches (served half or whole) like the Turkey, the Chicken Salad, the Vegetarian, and the Pimento Cheese. There are also savory pastry lunches, served with a small market salad or cup of soup, including the Butter Croissant and the Spinach & Cheese Croissant.
What Now confirmed news of the reopening with a representative of Texas French Bread on Friday. The representative said an opening is expected in late April or early May.
An additional bit of news, the representative said, is that Texas French Bread plans to start offering a dinner menu once it’s brought back indoors. We can’t wait to see what will be on it!
Texas French Bread will reopen at 2900 Rio Grande Blvd.
