The Toasted Yolk Cafe, the brunch brand that wants to “change the way you think about breakfast and lunch,” is preparing to open a new location in Round Rock in the new year. With an opening planned for January 19, Round Rock’s Toasted Yolk will launch what might your new favorite place for brunch.

What Now spoke on Thursday with Stephanie Malveaux, one of the franchisees behind the location, about the process of opening what will be her family’s first Toasted Yolk location.

How did you come to get involved as a franchisee with Toasted Yolk? What Now asked.

“It was really just by chance,” Malveaux said. “We were frequent visitors, and we love the brand, the dining, the customer service. So we started inquiring about franchising opportunities.”

Malveaux lists a few favorites like Shrimp N Grits, the Pork Chop Breakfast, and of course those mimosas. Added to this are Morning Classics like the Hot Honey Chicken & Yolk Biscuit Sandwich, Brunch Indulgences like the Signature Fire Roasted Peach Cobbler French Toast, and Healthy Horizons like the Cali Fresh Omelette.

“Toasted Yolk Round Rock is excited to serve up delicious breakfast, brunch and lunch, offering a diverse menu,” Malveaux told What Now in an email conversation. “There is something for everyone. Excellent taste and Quality Service in a fun, relaxed atmosphere! Perfect sit down stop for shoppers and commuters in the area to grab a bite and just minutes away from Kalahari Resort.”
