Toca Madera, the notable Mexican Steakhouse, is set to open its first location in Austin. The California-born eatery has spots in Los Angeles, Dallas, Las Vegas, Scottsdale, and Houston. Hospitality group, Noble 33, shared the news of the new Austin location opening soon on its website.
But there were no further details about the exact location and when the concept would open. What Now Austin reached out to Noble 33 Co-founder, Tosh Berman, but did not receive a response at the time of publication.
Toca Madera serves Mexican cuisine with a “strong focus on pairing its bold flavors with the highest quality, sustainable and organic ingredients”, as its website reads. Each location’s menu appears to be slightly different but consists of an air of elevated simplicity, meets modern Mexican-American food. Dishes like tostadas, shishito peppers, and queso fundido serve as appetizers. Main dishes include a wide variety of salads, seafood, steak, and classic Mexican dishes.
There is an extensive cocktail menu, and happy hour is on the menu as well.
While it’s too soon to tell when and where this eatery will open its doors in the Live Music Capital of the World, it’s likely to receive rave reviews in Austin as it has in its other locations.
This is a developing story; we will share more details with our readers as more details are received. Stay tuned!
