The growing smoothie and health-food fast-casual brand, Tropical Smoothie Cafe, will soon be opening two locations in the Round Rock area. One of them will be located at 17420 Ranch Rd 620, within Suite 110, and the other at 2980 Joe Dimaggio Blvd.
“These will be my second and third locations,” franchisee Matt Cohen tells What Now Austin. “The first is located in Pflugerville.
When asked why he chose to franchise with the company, Cohen gives a clear-cut answer.
“It was a great growing brand that offered a nice alternative to traditional fast food, healthy yet delicious, and I really liked where the brand was going. I spoke to different companies and they seemed like the best fit.”
And whare are Mr. Cohen’s favorite offerings?
“You know, I keep it simple. The chicken bacon flat wrap and a sunrise sunset smoothie—it’s strawberry, orange juice, mango and pineapple.”
Readers can anticipate the Ranch Road location to be up and running very soon, within two weeks, according to Mr. Cohen. The Joe DiMaggio location will be operating around August 2023.
