According to recent public records, Willie’s Grill & Icehouse at 1301 S I-35 Frontage Rd in Georgetown is gearing up for a significant upgrade.

Public records examined by What Now Austin reveal that construction will consist of an “Interior Bar Remodel and Exterior Patio Addition” spanning around 6400 SF at a cost of around $150,000. Completion is projected for the beginning of September.

In a recent interview with What Now Houston, VP of Development Josh Hill described a similar upgrade as “aiming to create a more welcoming and contemporary atmosphere for guests.”

“From updated decor to possibly new seating arrangements, every detail is being considered to offer an improved dining experience,” reported WN Houston.

Readers can expect a “classic Texas Icehouse feeling with families in mind to enjoy good conversation, food and ice cold beverages,” per the website.

Underscoring the brand’s quest to provide guests Southern authenticity, Willie’s has “fresh Louisiana crawfish delivered daily to all 20 Willie’s locations across Texas!”

“Our premium crawfish are cooked to perfection with our signature seasoning blend, served piping hot with corn, potatoes, and all the classic fixins.”
