Wing Stop, the hot wings chain ubiquitous in Texas, will open a new Round Rock location in 2024, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be located at 13107 N Interstate Hwy 35, within Suite 755.

Construction will consist of “Interior remodel of existing tenant space, work to include but not limited to new fixtures, finishes, equipment and Mechanical, electrical and plumbing work,” the records state. The 1,675 square foot space will cost around $300,000 to build out and is anticipated to reach completion in June. The store will be run by star franchisee Charles Loflin, the largest single Wing Stop franchisee and CEO of Pizza Patron.

“As a franchisee, I think I’m the greatest franchisee Wingstop has ever had,” Loflin said to Franchise Times in 2018. I don’t mean to say that cocky. I built a team around me. I’ll put my guys, men and women, up against anybody. And they help me do this.”

In another interview with Franchising in 2014, Loflin provided a similarly driven statement:

“I’m a very driven person. I want to be the best franchisee, I want to be the most successful at what I do, I want the highest scores in the system.”
