Wing Stop, the hot wings chain ubiquitous in Texas, will open a new Dripping Springs location in 2025, according to recent public records. The restaurant will be located at 136 Drifting Wind Run.

Construction will consist of “Tenant improvement to an existing tenant space for a new Wingstop restaurant,” the records state. The 1,433 square foot space will cost around $300,000 to build out and is anticipated to reach completion in December. The store will be run by multi unit franchisee Loren Hernandez as part of San Antonio Wings

In late 2024, Mr. Hernandez was recognized by UTSA for his franchising work.

“Loren Hernandez, MBA ’15, has been making strides as a project manager at San Antonio Wings, Wingstop’s largest franchisee,” a LinkedIn post by the University’s Business School stated.

“Earlier this month, Loren and his team celebrated the opening of their 150th store in Phoenix, AZ—marking the 80th location he has opened since joining the company.”

No opening date has been announced.
