Hebrew SeniorLife proudly brings a new space for older adults. The new apartments have great amenities that make them comfortable for everyone. Adding to all this is the affordability of the apartment complex, which stands out in affordability.

Hebrew SeniorLife says the project focuses on comfort without sacrificing affordability. This Boston-based healthcare and senior living provider offers a great home. It is in a top location and also affordable.

Many dignitaries attended the ribbon-cutting ceremony for the apartments. The first resident of the new building was also present. After the ceremony, the team led prospective tenants on walkthroughs of the model units.

Eligibility and Application Process

Adults 62 and older can qualify for immediate occupancy of the apartments. To qualify, their gross income must not exceed $69,480 for one person or $79,440 for two people. Applicants who sign a lease before July 1 receive their first month’s rent free.

The project was designed to couple affordability with everyday conveniences seniors rely on. A housing lottery on August 21, 2024, selected the first residents of 108 Centre Street. Applications are still open. Several apartments are still available for immediate occupancy.

The residency application is available via website, email, phone call, or direct pick-up. Interested applicants can pick up the application from the Brookline Library, the Brookline Senior Center, or 100 Centre Street. Submission can be done by email, fax, mail, or in person at the Center Communities of Brookline. The address is 100 Centre Street, Brookline, MA 02446.

The apartment’s design focuses on the comfort of older adults. On‑site staff provide daily supports, from wellness checks to coordinated activities.

Every 628‑square‑foot one‑bedroom is laid out for easy, safe living. Some of the units come with skyline and treetop views, which brighten the open living spaces. Full bathrooms with walk-in showers and safety features make residents feel safe. It also has laminate flooring, energy-efficient heating and cooling, and pet-friendly features.

Amenities extend well beyond each 628‑square‑foot unit. Residents get to enjoy the community room, courtyard and patio, and the group fitness room. Each floor has its own laundry room.

Located adjacent to the 100 Centre Street building, there is a dining room, beauty salon, community store, outdoor terrace, fitness room, library, and art room. All these spaces provide entertainment for the residents as well as give them an opportunity to socialize. It also allows them to dive into new hobbies or relax with friends.

In short, Hebrew SeniorLife’s latest build combines below‑market rents with a slate of on‑site perks rarely found at this price point. The right healthcare and a comfortable home make this space great for seniors. Creating happier days for the residents, this company shows what it means to truly care for the people.
