A new dining destination from a local hospitality group is quietly taking shape in Boston’s Back Bay.

According to Boston Magazine, A Street Hospitality is preparing to launch a new concept inside the Four Seasons Hotel at 200 Boylston Street, taking over the former Bristol Lounge space. The group—led by Jody Adams, Eric Papachristos, and Jon Mendez—is behind some of the city’s most beloved restaurants, including La Padrona, Trade, and Saloniki.

In a statement to What Now Boston, Papachristos emphasized the group’s deep ties to the Bay Back and commitment to Boston as a whole:

We are all longtime Bostonians, with roots deeply woven into the fabric of this city. This neighborhood is iconically classic Boston, and it holds personal significance for each of us. I opened my first nightclub just a block away, twenty-two years ago, and as a Suffolk University alumnus, these streets were—and still are—quite literally my backyard. When the opportunity presented itself, it felt less like a decision and more like a calling… Boston’s Back Bay deserves a dining destination that matches the caliber of the neighborhood itself—a place where the experience feels as considered as the cuisine. We believe there is room for something that elevates the evening without pretense, where every detail has been thought through but nothing feels forced. That is the space we intend to fill.

Rather than leaning Mediterranean like many of the group’s existing concepts, the restaurant—whose name has not yet been announced publicly—will explore a broader American and European repertoire, drawing inspiration from the opulent dining rooms that once defined urban luxury.

Chef Adams, a James Beard Award winner, is crafting a menu rooted in “old-school refinement,” with dishes ranging from oysters, caviar and blini, and beef tartare to lobster bisque, Dover sole, and prime rib. At the same time, though, the kitchen won’t take itself too seriously. Expect playful, indulgent additions such as cheese fondue, king crab mac and cheese, and a flamboyant dessert that merges crêpes Suzette with cherries jubilee.

Though it will occupy the former Bristol Lounge space, the new restaurant will operate independently from the hotel in both ownership and branding—similar to the group’s approach at Raffles Boston, home to La Padrona. A dedicated entrance along Boylston Street will give the space its own distinct presence.

Inside, the design aims to strike a balance between eras, blending Edwardian elegance with a more contemporary sensibility. Expect jewel-toned materials, layered textures, and a sense of “quiet grandeur” that feels equal parts timeless and fresh.

Construction is in the early stages, and the team isn’t ready to share an opening timeline just yet. Once it debuts, A Street Hospitality’s new restaurant is expected to serve dinner daily, with brunch offered on weekends.

“Just as with all of our restaurants, our focus has always been on our fellow Bostonians first,” Papachristos said. “We listen intently, watch closely, and strive to deliver something that inspires us and, in turn, our guests. Boston’s hotel culture brings a wonderful energy of international and local travelers, but at our core, we know this city loves its locals—its business professionals, its suburban dwellers, its neighborhood regulars. We are building this for all of them. If the room feels like it belongs to Boston, then we’ve done our job.”
