A popular North Shore seafood spot recently closed its doors, but ownership is already searching for a new location.

According to Boston Restaurant Talk, A&D Clam Box in Marblehead has permanently shuttered its 195 Pleasant St location.

Local restaurateur Klevis Qyrasi—who also owns Plus Cafe and Elia Taverna, both in Marblehead—confirmed the closure on social media, stating, “A&D Clam Box will be closed permanently on December 31st. The landlord doesn’t want to extend the short term lease that we had. New location will be announced soon. Thank you all our customers for their support.”

Known for its high-quality seafood, A&D offered a menu brimming with fried and baked seafood plates, rolls, and boxes, alongside a solid burger selection.

Qyrasi did not immediately respond to What Now Boston’s requests for comment, so details about the new location remain unclear for now. Keep an eye out for updates.
