China Pearl, a well-established Chinese restaurant, is preparing to reopen its doors this winter, after an extended closure of over two years. According to Eater Boston, the newly refurbished dining space, situated at 9 Tyler St in Chinatown, will showcase features such as exposed brick walls and restored hardwood floors that date back to the 1800s.

Owner Brian Moy also oversees another China Pearl establishment in Quincy, as well as several modern, Asian-inspired restaurants scattered throughout the area. Though the exact reopening date of China Pearl remains undisclosed, patrons can anticipate a consistent menu featuring items carried over from the Quincy location. Expect steamed dumplings, calamari, deep-fried sesame balls, and more.
