A local fast-casual Mexican chain is adding another pin to the map.

Anna’s Taqueria is moving into the former B.GOOD space at 84 Summer St in Downtown Boston, according to the company’s website. The expansion continues a recent trend of Anna’s taking over shuttered B.GOOD outposts—including locations in Natick, Woburn, and at Northeastern University—as both brands fall under the same parent company, Streetlight Ventures.

Founded in 1995, Anna’s has built a following with its casual menu of burritos, bowls, tacos, quesadillas, and salads. The chain currently operates ten locations across Greater Boston, including sites in Brookline, Cambridge, Somerville, and Newton.

According to Patch.com, the new Downtown spot is expected to open later this fall, with additional locations to follow in South Boston, Dedham, and Cranston, Rhode Island. What Now Boston has reached out to Streetlight Ventures CEO Anthony Ackil for confirmed opening dates and will update this page as more information becomes available.

Meanwhile, B.GOOD continues to hold on with five remaining restaurants spread across Massachusetts, Maine, and New Hampshire, where it serves up health-conscious versions of fast-food favorites such as baked fries, bowls, and burgers.
