Arlington Brewing Company is ready to commence operations after receiving its license making it Arlington’s first ever fully licensed brewery.
While owners Matt Guernsey and Tom Allen are currently looking for a permanent place for the business, the brewery is hosting live events across the city. Res Beer will be one such event.
The beer maker will have six beer gardens hosted at the Arlington Reservoir on Lowell Street and will continue hosting starting June 30 through August 11.
The idea behind hosting events across the city is to give customers a feel for the brewery’s beer before finding a permanent spot for itself.
Sean Garbelly, Massachusetts State Representative took to Facebook to congratulate the team for commencing its operations in the city and for obtaining its license.
“Congratulations to @arlingtonbrewingcompany, Arlington’s first-ever fully licensed brewery, on their recent commencement of operations. Can’t wait to join them and lots of other people at the Res beer garden on June 30!” said Garbelly in the post.
Guernsey, the co-founder hasn’t commented on the potential location for the business yet. As full-time engineers, Guernsey and Allen are driven by the desire to share what good quality of beer brings.
Well, if you are a beer fanatic and love trying new breweries in town, The Arlington Brewing Company might just be for you.
