Boston Chops Steakhouse Closes Two Boston Locations
Boston Chops was known as a neighborhood steakhouse with an urban bistro feel, offering classic American steakhouse fare alongside an extensive wine list. The restaurant operated locations in the South End and Downtown Crossing and was renowned for its high-quality, prime steaks.
The restaurant team shared an official closure announcement on its website and social media.
“It has been a pleasure serving our communities for the past 14 years. We are grateful for every team member, neighbor, guest, and vendor who built and sustained Boston Chops,” shared the team.

The Chops Family further expressed, “It has been an extraordinary journey full of celebrations, but we are now closed to make way for new ownership and a revitalized concept to better serve the community.”
In the post, the team further informed that if any customer is still holding unused ‘Boston Chops gift cards’, then send an email to [email protected] with the gift card number. “Our team is reviewing gift card records and will follow up directly with next steps,” said the team.
Popular options in the menu included Crab Cake, Roasted Bone Marrow, and Wagyu Steak. The restaurant menu also offered mouthwatering, delicious dessert items like Classic Creme Brûlée, Warm Chocolate Cake, and Sticky Toffee Pudding.
